Whitney has worked as a paralegal for over ten years. She started out at Fennemore Craig where she worked with the firm’s utilities and appellate practices before joining Jay Shapiro in starting the Shapiro Law Firm.
Whitney has extensive and specialized experience in assisting utilities in matters and
proceedings before the Arizona Corporation Commission including rate cases, financing
applications, certificates of convenience and necessity (CC&N), CC&N extensions, and line siting proceedings. Whitney is experienced in all aspects of case management and procedure in Commission related actions, including document preparation and filings, discovery, hearing preparation, and utility compliance with Commission decisions.
Whitney’s particular expertise and ability to draft discovery and other pleadings in Commission and other legal proceedings is integral to the firm’s ability to provide highly specialized yet cost effective legal representation.
